Joey Nicoll

SC Real Estate Agent

With nearly three decades of experience as a Registered Professional Forester, Nicoll brings a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a deep understanding of forestry, land management, and the natural resources that make land valuable and pursued. As a graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management, Nicoll has built a career around understanding the land, developing relationships, and helping connect people with the resources and opportunities it provides.

Throughout his forestry career, he has worked alongside private landowners, forestry consultants, forest products industry professionals, real estate companies, investment firms, attorneys, and logging contractors. These relationships have given him a broad perspective on landownership, timber value, forest management, and the many factors that influence a property's potential. His experience in timber and forest management, wildlife habitat, native plants, soil and water conservation, and environmental stewardship has taught him to look beyond what is immediately visible and recognize the long-term possibilities a piece of land may offer from rural recreational uses to high valued commercial opportunities.

Nicoll’s connection to the outdoors extends well beyond his professional career. Hunting and fishing have been lifelong passions that have strengthened his appreciation for wildlife, habitat, and the importance of responsible land stewardship. Spending time outdoors has given him a personal understanding of what makes a property special, whether it is the quality of its timber, the diversity of its wildlife habitat, its recreational/commercial opportunities, or simply the enjoyment and connection to nature it provides.

“I see a natural connection between forestry and land sales. Buying and selling land is about more than acreage and boundaries; it is about understanding a property's intrinsic characteristics, recognizing its potential, and helping people make informed decisions about an important investment. My background allows me to offer a unique perspective on rural and recreational properties, timberland, and land with potential for wildlife habitat and long-term enjoyment.”

Nicoll resides along the NC/SC state line with his forever wife, Jamie and their two children, Hunter and Kaitlyn.
